ISLE OF WIGHT WIGHTLINK FERRIES
Wightlink is the largest operator
between the English mainland and the Isle of Wight. They run a round-the-clock
service, operating 365 days of the year and offer passengers the
choice of two car-ferry routes across the Solent.
No one knows the Island quite
like Wightlink and it is their wealth of experience, as well as
their friendly & professional service that makes them the most widely
used ferry operator to the Island. Each year, they carry more than
5 million passengers, over 1 million cars and some 160,000 coaches
and lorries.
- Portsmouth - Fishbourne
- Lymington - Yarmouth
The largest ships in the Wightlink
fleet run the route between Portsmouth Gunwharf and Fishbourne on
the east of the Island. The Gunwharf terminal, in the heart of the
historic Portsmouth docks, is easy to find and well located. An
additional crossing departs from Lymington in the New Forest to
the port of Yarmouth, on the west of the Isle of Wight. Both car
ferry journeys take around 35 minutes and sail every half-hour throughout
most of the day.

On board you will find a friendly
reception, as well as a fully licensed, well-stocked café-bar, serving
hot and cold snacks. There's plenty of room to relax in the comfortable
lounges or out on deck and on these ships there are shops for those
last minute purchases.
